Laura graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Business and discovered her love of teaching while obtaining her master’s degree in English at Portland State University. While working at the Portland State Publishing House, she developed her passion for education, which she has carried with her into her career at Aesthetics Institute as Assistant Director. Laura, a graduate of the Aesthetics Institute, returned to pass on knowledge and skills after working in the industry as an advanced esthetician for many years. While working in the industry, Laura built her skills as an educator, often training co-workers and creating protocols. Laura’s experience with corrective and advanced esthetics has driven her desire to teach the best techniques possible.

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, Renee Mauro has built a distinguished career rooted in education, innovation, and results-driven skincare. Her expertise spans clinical aesthetics, spa management, and professional development, and she has guided clients and fellow estheticians toward transformative outcomes. Throughout her career, Renee has combined advanced training with a passion for education—both as a lifelong learner and as a mentor to others. She has developed and led comprehensive training programs, workshops, and continuing education courses designed to elevate the skills, confidence, and success of esthetic professionals. Her teaching approach blends technical precision with a deep understanding of client care, empowering students and professionals to grow within an ever-evolving industry. Renee’s mission is to inspire excellence and integrity in skincare through education, experience, and empowerment—helping others advance their craft while setting new standards of professionalism and results in the field of aesthetics.

Lori Vargas, MBA, CPA, is the founder and CEO of 360 Wellness Education, a leading provider of accredited training for spa, beauty, and wellness professionals. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the spa industry, including founding multiple spas and a massage school, she has authored over 80 online modality courses and 40 procedural guidebooks, combining her expertise in body mechanics, business strategy, and client care. Before launching 360 Wellness Education, Lori spent 14 years in corporate strategy and business development with Fortune 50 companies. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and built her company on a model that emphasizes longevity and profitability for practitioners through the 360 Method™, which blends technique, self-care, and business fundamentals. Beyond her role as an entrepreneur and educator, Lori is also an international speaker, adjunct professor, health coach, author, Ironman triathlete, and proud mom.
